33 Apocalypse Ave, Sunday Morning
Sep. 23rd, 2012 11:43 am"...I didn't realize you had a dog, major Alenko," Sheila said. He could tell by her tone of voice that she wasn't happy about it.
"I don't," Kaidan said frankly, pushing the mastiff away from the screen for the umpteenth time. "But this is proving to be another one of Fandom's, uh..."
"...classified aspects," Sheila filled in smoothly, raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah," Kaidan said - his tone dipping into wry at least briefly. "Look, I swear I'm not trying to get out of this, but can we postpone it until... sometime next week?"
"Look look I just want to see," Kaiya whined, sniffing at the screen.
Sheila blinked. "Is there someone else in the room with you?" she asked.
"Part of the 'classified' thing," Kaidan sighed. "Look. I'll-- get back to you, I need to go get this one something from the kitchen." He rose up out of his seat, dragging Kaiya along with him, down the stairs, and into the kitchen.
"I'll have my assistant reschedule," Sheila called after him, then cut the feed.
